So lately I’ve been truly inspired by designers specializing in typography and hand lettering. Everyday I’ve been drawing and playing with new ways to hand letter inspiring quotes. Playing around with ligatures, swirls, and thick and thin lines. I still have a lot more to practice, but I know I’m on my way there.
I found a tutorial to make my hand lettering digital. The link is found below.
I like how this turned out and planning to find more creative ways to add images into hand lettered typography. What do you think?
While working on my portfolio, I’ve been looking at inspiration for self promotion and leave behind ideas. The work of Bianca Harmse is a perfect example to show good use of design, color, patterns, illustrations, and positivity using script font and inspiring quotes. I like how she gives the employer a notepad because notepads are always fun to keep ideas and to stay creative, it’s a great leave behind in my opinion. Well presented Bianca!

The box keeps inside a full collection of classical music stored on crystal sticks technology. The new sound will reveal subtle melodies you never knew existed.
This project inspired me because of the art nouveau-looking illustration put onto the cover box of a classic music collection. The design is very authentic and clean just like how classical music sounds. Valentin went even further and added new crystal stick technology which stores classical music of famous musicians such as Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, Vivaldi, and Wagner. This is unique for future technology and it makes me curious on how to use these music stored crystal sticks. It’s different from other music collections and makes it a whole lot interesting to sell.
